Job Overview
Grady’s Cold Brew is seeking a warehouse production assistant to join their production team. This is not a barista position in a coffee shop, but an entry-level food manufacturing position in a craft-coffee brewery — a great opportunity for anyone looking to get their foot in the door in food manufacturing. Candidates will gain hands-on experience in the full-lifecycle of product manufacturing. This is NOT a picker/packer posistion. Duties will include but are not limited to mixing, brewing, filtering, and bottling cold-brewed coffee on a large scale (think thousands of gallons per week), building orders, and the sanitization of all tanks and equipment. Physical requirements include lifting, twisting, pulling/pushing heavy pallets, and standing. It can also get a little messy at times. Key Responsibilities:
- Brew coffee according to established recipes and standards.
- Rotate and relieve the 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM crew for their breaks.
- Participate in active production runs on our bottling line and assist with box building.
- Washing and sanitizing tanks and quipment
- Collecting and disposing of trash
- Moving dumpsters to the street
- Sweeping and mopping floors
Qualifications
- Must be punctual! (If you are late or absent often, this job is not for you)
- Must be willing to be part of a team
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Kitchen experience a plus, Food Protection Certification preferred
- Able to thrive in a quick-paced environment
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Must be able to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Forklift certification is preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
Details:
- Pay: $16.50/hour
- Pay cycle: Weekly (paid each Friday)
