Delivery Person at Misha’s Flower Shop
Position Summary
Misha’s Flower Shop in Bushwick is hiring a delivery person to bring prepaid online orders to customers by bike 30-40 hours per week, (e-bike and helmet provided). Misha’s delivery zone covers a large area of Brooklyn and parts of Queens that may take 30 minutes or more to reach. Delivery hours are 12pm-10pm daily, year-round. There are seven 10-hour shifts per week with 3-4 shifts assigned to each of the two delivery people depending on their availability.
Misha’s Flower Shop is one of Brooklyn’s few New York State licensed adult-use cannabis dispensaries and strictly adheres to all rules and regulations of the New York State Office of Cannabis Management and requires all employees to posses a firm understanding of these rules and to follow them at all times during working hours. Compliance training will be provided, existing knowledge of NYS OCM adult-use rules is preferable.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled deliveries efficiently by e-bike or on foot depending on distance.
- Confirm customers age and obtain their signature at delivery using a smartphone app.
- Follow all operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Obey all traffic laws.
- Provide positive experiences that build customer loyalty.
About You
- Minimum 21+ years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in Cannabis in New York.
- Prior delivery/logistics experience required, driver’s license preferred.
- Available to work 10 hours shifts 5 days per week.
