Early Childhood Teacher/Faith-Based Preschool
St. Luke’s Day School is a Christ-centered early childhood program where educators and parents teach and strengthen each child’s emotional, social, physical, intellectual, and spiritual skills while we are all playing and learning together.
Quality and continuity of staff are important parts of the St. Luke’s Day School early childhood program. We are always eager to meet qualified, enthusiastic early childhood educators who are interested in joining our school family.
Teachers are chosen for the following:

2. Competency and experience with age group to be taught.
3. Willingness to learn more about child development and early childhood education.

5. Commitment to work in a Christian environment.
Essential job functions are:
1. Plan and execute a developmentally appropriate program in coordination with your teaching partner,
2. Ensure the welfare, health, and safety of each child in your care,
3. Maintain appropriate records,
4. Maintain good communication with children, families, and co-workers,
5. Take care of school and church property, and
6. Commit to growing professionally through staff development opportunities and special school events.
Our school serves infants through transitional Kindergarten. We have teaching positions available for all ages – infants, toddlers, twos, threes, and PreK. We are seeking full-time teachers, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, as well as closers 2:30-5:30pm. If the candidate does not have a Child Development Associate (CDA), it is required to be completed at our school during the first year of employment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
